Etidloie’s Diving Walrus is the embodiment of the walrus’ spirit.
These marine mammals are extremely sociable, prone to loud bellowing and snorting at one another.
They are most often found near the Arctic Circle, lying on the ice with hundreds of companions.
Kelly’s Diving walrus is animated and almost cartoonish in its disposition. It stands on one large flipper and appears to be swimming a very awkward sidestroke. Putting aside all his eccentricities, this large mammal (they can weigh more than 4400 lbs) has only two natural predators: the killer whale and the polar bear.
Kelly’s walrus is lovingly carved with a sublime piece of dark green serpentine stone. The details of the walrus such as his body and flippers are meticulous in their design. His tusks are absolutely perfect in their proportion.
This walrus is Kelly Editloie’s magnum opus.
