Simon is a specialist in miniature polar bears carved from ivory.

Tiny carvings were the norm in the early part of the 20th century when shipping was sporadic and expensive.

I love the vintage feel of Diamond Girl.

It is the innocence of this bear and its perfect detail which makes its a gem.black eyes and button of a nose.

Kudlistiak’s treatment of the effervescent white Ivory is brilliant.
