Note **Paul Bruneau is an Ojibway native and a member of the Mattagami First Nations Reserve.

Paul Bruneau is a craftman  and a brilliant designer.  His gloriously coloured Inukshuks are so unique in their design that there are no other Inukshuks to compare them to. Some have a African tribal feel, while others are almost comical in their stance and appearance.

Northern Canadian art had never seen Inukshuks on this level until Paul Bruneau arrived on the scene.

These carvings are the most divine Inukshuks we have ever seen in the gallery.

This large 16" sculpture consists of five different coloured stones!

The magic of this artist is that he is able to have each stone not only relate to the next, but he is able to make each stone dramatize its neighbour until finally the multi colours explode with enthusiasm and flair.

The Inukshuks become animated. You can imagine them plodding forward on their  journey.

The energy of Paul's sculptures is alluring.  It's this dynamism that explains Paul's  elevation to the highest echelons of  Inuit art.
