Esau Kripanik’s Ferocious Polar bear is a stark reminder that no matter how adorable Polar bears look, these animals are NOT cuddly.

Polar bears are ferocious hunters. In fact, they are the biggest carnivores among land animals.

Our Polar bear, when standing on its hind legs may reach more than ten feet and weigh up to 2200 lbs!

This particular Dancing bear is an extraordinary beast. Not only is he balancing on one leg, he is also leaning to one side. It takes a Master carver to achieve this engineering feat.

Kripanik deserves his fame as one of the top carvers of caribou and bear sculptures.

His bear reminds us that the Arctic environment is often harsh and deadly. Still, just like our Polar bear, the magnificent beauty of the Arctic is compelling and magical.

This carving is Esau’s quintessential sculpture. His signature tattoos have never looked so exquisite; they give the carving a sense of history. Each time I see Kripanik’s “tattoos” I am amazed by their extraordinary beauty.

I can’t impress upon you enough the significant beauty of this piece. This could be the only Polar bear carving you need in your collection.
