** Ashevak Adla SIGNATURE Dancing bear
Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!!!
Midsummer ..... the evenings are cooler now.
A bonfire rages then slowly regresses to warm flickers of fire.
A large majestic bear stands up on its hind legs and raises its arms to the night sky.
Caramel tilts his head back.
He begins the rumble in the back of his throat, long and low and sustained.
Some refer to this communication as the Polar Bear purr!
Ashevak Adla is one of the top Inuit carvers of bears in the world.
His focus is on the LARGE Dancing bear like Caramel.
Caramel's colour is singular.
I'm not sure I have seen a large Dancing bear in this colour before!!
But more intriguing is the adornment of the bear with lakes of darker hues of the caramel colour.
Similar to the colour pattern of a Pinto horse.
The visage is breathtaking!
Adla loves his bears to be full bodied, powerful BUT also there is a SERENITY to them that envelopes you when you stand close.
Caramel is a spectacular sculpture and heads our list of the most outstanding Dancing bear of 2024 in our Gallery.
