Rover is Kelly's enchanting carving of an Arctic dog.

The snowmobile has almost completely replaced the Inuit sled and dog teams but prior to the 1960s, the Inuit dog was an essential part of Inuit life.

Rover has the look of a juvenile dog.

Full of energy and curiousity.

Rover looks to his owner for his direction.

He is not yet the Alpha dog, but I have no doubt that in another year he could be leading his own pack.

His Inuit master knows this dog will surrender his life, if necessary, for the survival of his pack.

And for his loyalty to his master.
