Museum quality sculpture!

This is a monumental piece made by world class carver Jaco Ishulutak. This piece truly demonstrates the extraordinary carving bravura of the 72 year old master carver, who began carving at the tender age of 17. Not only is this work exceptional in its degree of openwork carving and detail, it is also highly expressive and energetic.

Never has there been an artist quite like Jaco who continuously releases gorgeous pieces of art; my heart skips a beat every single time I see one of his carvings. This piece is definitely of no exception and it took me all but 0.2 seconds to decide that it was mine. The question now becomes, with Jaco getting up to his mid-70s, should I keep this piece for myself?

The lines and curvatures are absolutely perfect. The warmth of the light green and yellow serpentine stone transcends a peaceful sentiment to its immediate surroundings.

This piece is so fluid that the movements alone almost want to make it jump. It makes a fantastic centrepiece for our art gallery.
