Small bears are the backbone of Inuit carving.
People are drawn to “small” objects, perhaps as a subconscious return to the innocence of childhood.
Small bears, in particular, are enchanting. I never have enough of them on hand for my clients.
Their spirit is all-encompassing. Such a small being provides so much joie de vivre.
Adamie's bear is full of energy.
His head is completely flexed backward with his nose pointing directly to heaven.
Is his joyful disposition the direct result of his communicating with the Universe?
I love our Bear's long arms! They have no elbow joint and the claws are exaggerated in size. The rest of the bear is carved in the realistic style except for these fanciful arms.
The dark green/black colour of the stone is sumptuous.
This Adamsie dancing bear is bursting with cheer!
