As I reviewed the pictures of this small bear, my heart melted.

He was so small, so young and so alone.

Perhaps his mother is just outside the frame of the picture, carefully watching over him... but giving him some independence for a moment.

Pits Michael often carves animals who appear very young and vulnerable. They capture your heart.

The lime green stone is soft like moss. It is sublime. The consumate colour for this piece.

Pits’ bears are often playful but also athletic. This little fellow seems shy.
