Salomonie has given negative space to the area between the segments of 3D's body.

The space appears as shade and gives the sculpture an exaggerated third dimension.

Although 3D is the same size as many of the preceding Inukshuks, this focus on the space between the segments makes it look taller.

3D's stone is a mellow warm medium brown colour.
