Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
If I were to pick one piece from the Gallery that defines the word POWER it would be this incredible Muskox from Noah Jaw.
Noah's medium and large scale carvings are bold.
Noah carves with confidence. There is no apology for the "in your face" countenance of his sculptures.
The bears are BEARS.
The Musk ox are MUSKOX.
Look at Titanic's head.
It reminds me of a Spanish Bull fight.
The head of the beast is down and turned as if sizing up the predator. Ready for the fight to come.
Titanic's head and horns are large,
The tips of the horns are pointed down in real life but these horns are pointed up like a bull.
Titanic is fierce.
Noah understands that this carving must be imposing and grand as the representative of this commanding creature.
Over the last several years, Jaw has emerged as one of my favorite artists.
This Muskox is magnificent and large. His upturned horns are unusual but striking.
This piece will be an awe inspiring addition to your Inuit art collection.
