How do you choose a carving?

Is it the physical presence of the sculpture that captures your heart?

The perfect proportions or the elegant lines?

Or is it the medium first ie. the colour of the stone, or the smooth glistening caribou antler?

How about the "personality" of the piece?

Do you believe that stone carvings even have personalities?

Or do you choose a particular carving based on how it makes you feel?

Giddy's stance suggests to me that he is thoroughly enjoying his dance.

If he had his way, this dance would last all day!

Giddy has abandoned all expectation, all judgement and all the rules.

Just so he can dance.
